Introduction of ALA
The Arabic Language Association is an association under the Kuliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge (IRK). It was established in 1990 and its purpose is to explore the Arabic language and literature as well as strengthening the ukhuwwah Islamiyyah according to the teachings of Al-Quran and Al-Hadith. In the beginning, the Arabic Language division in IIUM offered education at the Degree level only. Now, it also offers education at the Masters and Doctorate level in Arabic Language Studies as well as Arabic Literature. Every division in IIUM has its own student association/society. The same goes for the Arabic Language division. Every student enrolled in the Arabic Language course is a member of the Arabic Language Association.
